My family and I have 7 chickens but when building the coop, my uncle, who was constructing only made a 32 sq ft plot of land, including the coop and run. I was worrying that is there someway that the chickens can survive the area. The chickens are only seven week old by the way.

Can you perhaps take and post some photos of the set up? Are the birds in question bantam or standard sized birds? Are the birds going to be confined at all times within that 32 ft² or will they be allowed to free range in a larger area at times? Is the co-op elevated so that the entire area underneath is usable as run space?
Generally speaking 32 ft² would not be sufficient space for 7 standard size birds living full time in those confines.

As a general rule of thumb, it's recommended to have 4sq/ft per chicken in the coop, and 10sq/ft per chicken in the run.

Is the coop/run finished, or in progress?

What is your general location (climate will be a big factor in design choices)?

ETA - yes, post pics!

Unfortunately yes they will be in that 32 sq ft area but since it is elevated, there is 16 more sq feet of space for them.

Yes, please, pics of coop/run/area.

....and..yes, also

Where in this world are you located?
Climate is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, then it's always there!
