There are some really nice coops out there .
What I had work ok in the beginning but BOY did they grow!!!
I had to upgrade for the girls!
Before: old rabbit hutch with add on's .

Now we have this!

I'll let mother nature weather it for me.
They seem to like it. I do not see any one out when it gets dark.

I wish I had the skill and money to build a nice coop! I stick with hoop coops. They are fairly inexpensive and easy to build. Hubby and I can put one up in 2 hours. I would love to have a snazzy coop for my silkies though.

I didn't build the original coop, but I did build the addition. The coop was just too small for the girls.

My Garden babies are getting so big. My Jersey Giant (Solo) seems like a Giant now and I know that she has some growing left to do. She is so beautiful.

Hi! I am still a bit of a newbie... My babies are only 3 months old. With a great deal of help with all my questions on this site, we built a coop & run for our 8 babies. Here it is:

These are pics before we finished the white trim.

Spent some time Saturday winterizing the run.
I used some planks on the roof and along the bottom of the fencing then added poly!

Half of the roof is covered.

He still doesn't trust me!
I think he likes it.
