Just a few pics of one of our coops.

I have a coop question for everyone.

My husband just finished building our first coop! Its great! We have ventilation for it and windows with plexiglass. We have the roost and nesting boxes all set. And we will be putting a heater in somehow.
He installed the door and there is a gap at the top. Its about 1/2 inch. I was wondering if I should be worried about the draft for the chickens? Should I try to cover the gap or will it not hurt them any?

Oh and I should mention that I live in Central Ohio where we get some rough winters and mild springs.
We dont have chickens yet but we are planning on getting them in the spring.

Do I need to worry about cold drafts in the coop? Or will they be fine?

Thanks everyone!
And all the coops look great!!!
