I bought a very nice, deep pink for the coop part. I wanted it to kind of look like one of those old Victorian houses.
I have straw in their nesting boxes now. I used the shavings as a temporary solution until I made it to the store.

Did you bury the hardware cloth so digging predators can't get to them?

Yes I did.

I bet you end up with a pink chicken as you know one will step/flop in your paint!
