I wonder of neem powder would work? I treat the dogs with a mixture of DE, neem powder and yarrow.

I bought an expensive mite powder from a breeder in NZ that has neem powder in it and I use it sparingly in the coop as another back up.

It works great on ants, within minutes. I do feed it to my dogs daily for 7 days once a month and no worms ever. Not sure if it's a coincidence, luck or it works.

It's brilliant on slugs as well. But then so is salt. I hate those huge ones!
