I intended to point out how much things vary. Maybe not so clear as I thought.

lol my girls stay out in the run even when we had snow lol. They’re funny ladies. Although we’re outside Atlantic City so snow isn’t major for us.Minimum, right?
..and in NJ they might want more space for those nasty winter storms.
You really need to up your measurements. Coop floor space not including nest box should be 4'x4' minimum, and bigger than that if weather is an issue.assuming these aren’t good either Size wise? Cube looks small to me. Smaller than the playhouse even.

Agreed. Don’t understand how people rave about these!? CrazyYou really need to up your measurements. Coop floor space not including nest box should be 4'x4' minimum, and bigger than that if weather is an issue.
The Eglu is 3x3 and part of the space is eaten up by nest box, so it's more like 2x3.
Before we had chickens, we got two big shipping crates that DH turned into my garden shed.A bit of shipping crate inspiration.....
Shipping crates can be great coops if you can score a big crate.
So cool! Unfortunately my hubby can’t do a ton of building. We’re literally sitting in the hospital now treating his back issues. So that’s why trying to give girls best life we can with what we have. I do take great care of my girls and spoil them rotten.A bit of shipping crate inspiration.....

Check out the run on Blooie's coop page. The T-Post braced cattle panel hoop coop is probably the easiest/least expensive approach you can take.So cool!
