Copper Blue Marans...What do U Think?

Yup its pretty expensive...I am a member of the Yahoo group as well. I dont mind the cost if the end result is worth it. We have been working out all the details about getting the birds inspected. We are on the second set of test at present. Its a pretty neat prospect and I hope it works out for the best.

Thank you for stepping up to the plate and paying the $$$ it takes to get great quality birds. Those look beautiful and it would be great to diversify the blood lines we have in the US! I know its very difficult and I am happy to hear that someone is putting in the hard work and hard earned money to do it. Hope all goes well with this project it sounds great!

Yup...I am a member. I am TJ in GA from that group. I recently posted pics of my first Black Marans on there. Bev has been helping with all the legal stuff required to get the birds from the UK.

A post on that site was what got me started trying to find a breeder in the UK.

Happy New Year

Thats great that Bev is helping you this will be so good for Marans in general in the United States letting people know that its not impossible to import eggs. I really hope you are sucessful with this project. How many eggs are you getting? What type of incubator do you use?
