Currently, Larry & i have 4 dogs. 1 purebred Pomeranian purchased in Mar 2014 @ approx 12 weeks of age, a ratJack mix adopted in Feb 2019 @ about 2-1/2 yrs & 2 corgi/pom mixes...

And with my job, one day a rescue showed up with 4 Pomeranian mixes & 2 purebred Pomeranians & others - they took on 80 small dogs from hoarding situation. Heart throb for 3... I wish I could have taken 2 home, but could not. I was accepted for one, got cash during lunch & after work, she came home with me. Fizzy was 15 weeks old in Nov 2019.

Well, for all that she was is a friendly, loving little dog, she's not fond of young children. Guess they run & scream too much. Don't let a chick out of a brooder, as she will happily dispatch them. A mouse, not so much.

Hard to believe she's 5 yrs old already!
Love your adorable pack. :)

I have nothing against rescuing. As technically i did just before he ended up in a shelter(a friend couldnt keep him. Breeder wouldnt take him back and so they were going to send him to a shelter).
But i find most shelters around me most dogs are marked no dogs, or no kids. Or fully fenced in yard which there is both kids and dogs. Plus our yarf isnt fenced in

That is big problem. We don't have a fenced yard being out in the country. Most shelters will not adopt dogs out due to that.

Yeah. We live on a busy highway.
We were going to adopt before we got our aussie x lab. But was told we couldnt because our yard wasnt fenced in. Then we got the aussie lab and never rescued.
Even fkr fostering ive found you have to have a fenced in yard.
We have a underground
fence which beeps and then vibrates. Trained both pups on it and havent needed it since. They know not to leave.
