Corid question please help!!!

its oxytetracyclin hci it says 10 grams in the packet and I mixed 1/4 tsp in a quart of water also mixed in about 1mg of vitamins and electrolyte mix in there too @casportpony

The 800 mg per gallon dose is should be 1.5 *tablespoons* per gallon, so I think you weren't giving enough. Additionally, oxytetracyline should not be given with some vitamins, so that could also be the reason why it didn't work.

That explains alot :/ so how much would i put in a quart?

Do you want to see the math? :D

One teaspoon = ~165 mg oxytetracyline. Max dose for one quart should have 200 mg, so 200/165 = ~1.2 teaspoons.

1.2 teaspoons per quart.

Bunch more math on how to get the 165 mg per teaspoon. If interested, see the oxytetracyline link in my sig.

Calculating doses for powder is quite tricky, especially without a gram scale. Most people hate math, so they rely on other people to tell them what the dose is. Dosing misinformation is a pet peeve of mine, so whenever I can, I buy the medication, do the math, weigh the powder, and calculate the dose.
