Yeah those feed companies are just pulling the wool over our eyes!!!! There is absolutely no need for all those vitamins and trace minerals, what a waste of money. All that research was funded by the huge conglomerates to justify selling their vitamins so the research has to be incorrect.
And the added technologies such as phytase, synthetic amino acids, and botanicals are designed just to line their pockets under the guise of "improved efficiency". What a joke.
Stick with corn only, save your money, and get those feed companies out of our lives!!

While I get your sarcasm, why is it you are raising your own meat? Isn't it to eat healthier??? Isn't this why we are not eating cheaper, factory raised birds from Tyson???? Additives are additives no matter at what point they are added to the meat (feeding or packaging).
The corn used in my mix is not organic by any stretch of the imagination, but it is locally raised corn. I feel alittle better about that. I wonder how many miles a bag of TSC feed travels????
