Cornish Rock Eggs?

I have 2 Cornish cross hens that are around 6 1/2 months old. They were the runts left after slaughtered 4 in the heat at 10 weeks. Those were big chickens at that time and these are more than 2-3 times the size, around 15-16 lbs. I got a tiny brown egg when they were 4.5-5 months old. I recently caught the biggest one laying an egg and it was big and was double yolk. She may have layed one the previous day as well that was double yolk and a bit smaller but the same color. They were raised with layer chicks and free ranged so have always been very active. They have been eating layer food since around 8 weeks and probably led to slower growth and better health. Also I stopped putting food in coop at night at around 6 weeks. They also enjoy garden vegetables, grass, bugs and left overs. Basically I’m not in the mood to pluck another giant chicken so we decided to keep them around as long as they seen happy and healthy or Thanks giving !
