My local feed store sells Cornish rocks and I was wondering, can I keep them as pets? How many eggs a week?

They are difficult to keep long term. They would definitely need a restricted feeding schedule, and even then they won't be as hardy as the average layer. They are not great egg layers. Of course they usually aren't expected to live that long.

X2 on keesmom. Cornish rocks are poor layers even if they live to laying age. Due to their abnormally fast growth rate (ready for butchering in 8 weeks), they develop all sorts of health problems at a very early age.
