Pipe Fitter. I make and/or read blue prints, pull measurements level up then piece together pipe to be welded then flew into position. Other jobs I weld the pipe and just hold the dumb end of the tape measure. I work on ethanol, power, gas, nitrogen plants and or oil refinery's. I spent Jan in NW Kansas on an Ethanol Plant. Then got back from Nebraska last week from a sand plant. My 1st of those.

Interesting! Sounds very physical and dangerous! - but it sure beats having to drive to the same stale air- fluorescent lit- office cubicle every day.

It is It is and it does. I can't work in any cubicle everyday. The only thing I can keep doing everyday is working on my own place. I used to stay in a camper before I got horses and I never came home. Didn't have much need to. I've had chickens on long jobs then give them to my brother if I was going that way or to whomever. And had my tomatoes in pots that could be moved to the bath tum during transit, and set up when I got to the next job. A simple farm boy working 1,000s of miles from home. Smiley was supposed to be at the end.

JRNash I think I sent you a PM. I'm not sure. Either way I spent 5 wks Jan and a little Feb 4 hrs closer to Denver than home, so I can relate.

CLSRanch, one of two companies I work with comes up here every year. I love to visit, but my home is the Piney woods of Southeast Texas.lol
