Looks like double lacing to me. In a single laced feather only the outer rim is black, the rest of the feather is ground coloured. In a partridge chicken, the outer rim is ground coloured, not black.
Double laced feather, then partridge, then single laced, from kippenjungle.nl :

Of course the quality of the lacing will vary with the bird. Sometimes solid black, double and single laced feathers will appear on the same bird especially in the hatchery cornish.

Thanks JRNash, still working on it but they are coming out mighty nice. Weighed the pullets yesterday and they ranged from 5.4 lbs to 6.14 lbs . Good tasting birds too!

Hi Good day all.
Does anyone know what breeds to pair in order to get the white hybrid table cornish cross?

You can't easily breed the exact same bird, or one that finishes as quickly, since the commercial meat hybrids took decades to produce- but you could start with good meaty strains of white cornish crossed with white rock.

Thanks. It is sure worth a try
