A 1 gal fount should be good for 20 for a week or more.For a feeder I'd use the long red ones,I think it has 10 holes on each side. After that you'll have to get a couple bucket feeders and maybe two 3gal waterers.I use a chicken tractor with plastic gutters for feeders and hang two 3 gal waterers for about 20-25 chickens. good luck Will

Thank you so much! The visual was great, it helps me picture how we will set up our chicks. We have 98+ days and about 80 - 75 degree nights, so we are trying to figure out how to keep these guys comfortable and fed and as happy as possible.

we bought 5 gallon feeders from poultry supply in nassco .
u can make one and saave 20.00 look on the learning center page.
i also bought 7 gallons waterers and they were worth every penny !!!!

hey, thanks for the info, we for sure did not want to spend a lot more on feeders than we already have. I don't know why, but I have never noticed the top bar. Thank heaven for children, they figured out where it is! Thanks again!
