I think mine are about the same age as your babies you just got. But, you still have more, so I must keep hatching!!!

I have plenty of roos I can send you! As usual I have more boys than girls.

I might have to have one, seems like most of mine are pullets, even the splits/lights. I know for sure I have one Roo wether it's split or light I have no idea!

Sure wish there was a way of telling.

I wish the pullet fairy would visit here. I have more split pullets than roos, and of course more pure roos than pullets. They sure know how to eat.

They eat a ton of feed!! I fill up a 7 lb feeder daily for them. I think wasting alot of it though.

I forgot to tell you that she laid 8 eggs and has went broody again, I think she has 1 or 2 under her. So, I guess for every 10 eggs, she'll go broody!

The light hens still have not gone broody. The Coronations love to, one three times already. Now they've just about all stopped laying because of the heat. They started in January, so not a huge surprise there.

This is the second time mine has gone broody since she started laying. I think I have gotten 18 maybe 20 eggs from her. I broke her last time, but I guess I'll just let her be broody this time. I had 3 that were not fertile this time. I guess she laid them shortly after I broke her.

So, I only have like 4 in the bator now and whatever she is setting on.

I only have 1 silkie out of 7 laying! I have only gotten 21 chicks from them this year. It's just been a slow year around here.

Mine were laying like crazy until April. That's when we had the first broodiness episode. Now they're taking a break.

I just hatched out 6 Light Sussex and more pippin, does that count??

also hatched out some Wheaten Marans, and got some Blues pippin.
