I got mine as day old chicks and I can remember being very worried about leg colour. They all had yellow legs, but I am happy to say that they all now have lovely pinkish white legs.

I had a guy here recently who couldn't believe how clean he was compared to his 7 hens.
I told him that's easy , George doesn't have anyone mounting him with muddy feet.

George is very regal, and one wouldn't want to get dirty.

Well my kids left the door open to the chuck room the other night and it was 28 degrees outside and we lost 8 Coronations Sussex and 6 Lavender Orps
