Yeah, gun would be very dangerous in that situation!![]()

I did get a hatchet today. The husband bought it for me to try with my next butcher task in a few weeks. It's even orange camo.

Ummm rotisserie (I didn't name him my husband did) came out of the cone after two minutes of bleeding out and ran in the yard with no headOh gosh. I didnāt realize they twitched for that long!I was thinking maybe like a few seconds or maybe a minute or two but not that long. That might be too much.
I thought about using a cone but it seems like it would be stressful being put upside down so idk. Fine for meat birds but Iām attached![]()
It's better to put them upside down. They get woozy from it and don't feel a thing. We used it on HeiHei too.Oh gosh. I didnāt realize they twitched for that long!I was thinking maybe like a few seconds or maybe a minute or two but not that long. That might be too much.

I don't even use mine for chickens. All set with that. It's for protection not chicken dispatching.

Have you ever read about Mike the headless chicken?? Haha
We do it with two people. My husband puts it in the cone and I reach up and get the head through. Ours have never flipped. Once they're upside down, it mellows them out for some reason. Maybe they head rush...Oh wow thatās good to know. Thanks. Seems kinder then. Might have to try it. I just feel like heās freak but maybe not haha
