No he ran halfway across the yard. My husband ran after him then held him by his feet until he bled out all the way.

I honestly thought he would come back to.life when I was butchering him

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking of. Pretty important think to miss

I’m not sure I would have kept him alive for 18 months though. I think I would have just tried again the right way and put him out of his misery. Although supposedly he still had a pretty good life but that doesn’t seem like much of a life to me.
