My Beetov-Hen for the first time in her life, 3 years, Jumped up on my lap ten min. ago. I had some meally worms I bought at the feed store, to get RED out of my head today. Beetov-Hen has never done that. EVER.

The last 4 are pretty sad & I hate remembering him that way but they really show how handsome he truly was & show his coloration well so I’m including them anyway. Because even just a month ago (first couple pics) he still looked like a bit of a scraggly teenager and now he was finally looking like a handsome man and he got this

My Deathlayers are nice to my girls and they don't flip or screech anymore like they did with Squatch.

It sucks.

I just lost my betta fish Thursday too and I know some will say he’s just a fish or whatever but he had so much dang personality and he also struggled and persevered through so much. He almost died once but I managed to nurse him back to health. Plus he had a runty fin that made swimming a bit harder and he had bad vision too/was almost blind but yet he didn’t let any of that slow him down and still zipped around and greeted me every day like it was nothing haha

I had him since November so similar timeframe as Red. About 5 months.

Man, I miss them
