I'm soooo disappointed in the people in my neighborhood. They are protesting while I'm going to work everyday, risking my health and my family's health, all because they want everything to go back to NORMAL. How selfish, SHAME ON YOU. Not sure it's worth it to be a Nurse anymore.

We usually hug puppies or horses instead. And on rare occasions even people.

I haven’t been to my therapist in like over a month cause of this Corona crap

Times like these (stay at home/coronavirus stuff) make me glad my therapists have four hooves and neighs. Or brays...either one, they both do a good job.

Hugging puppies is the best!!! I just did that yesterday

And animals really do make the best therapists!!! Hahah they just listen

I so feel for you.
You guys are the ones taking the biggest risks and I'm just dumbfounded at the protests and people pitching fits about wanting to get their nails done. It's selfish, spoiled, and puts everyone at greater risk.

Viruses don't give a rat's patootie who you are, how much money you have, or what level of education, or not, you have. (generalized you) Saying it's safe, and that the virus is under control so you can do whatever you want to do doesn't actually make it so, and I cannot fathom how people don't seem to understand this.
Ya just can't fix stupid.

I'm so sad this is happening. It IS worth it! Please don't be discouraged by the few who don't get it, or for whom the financial costs seem more important than the lives being lost. There are those who do understand, and who very much appreciate what our health care workers and first responders are doing, and risking! We pray for you daily, you are very much in our thoughts and our hearts. Our lives are in your hands. Please don't give up. We need you. We care. We love you!

Thank you for your encouragement! I became a nurse to help people, not to be part of any political agenda. I'm so angry at the selfishness . We need to protect each other. I gave up my 25th wedding anniversary celebration in San Francisco and Big Sur, we were supposed to travel May 9th to the 16th. Guess it'll have to wait until next year.. Even I feel uncertain, I'm not used to feeling this way.
