Your governor is amazing! Always prepared and does what's best for you guys!
He is a Republican in a very blue state and has been recognized as the most popular Governor in the US a couple of times. He is a really good person and an excellent manager. Btw: Harvard was the first University to shutdown their campus. Like 3 weeks ago at least.

Yes Harvard was the first. I remember seeing that then everyone else followed.

Does this mean postponing getting chickens for those of us planning to get chicks this spring? Does anyone know about that, esp. in Idaho?

I have ducklings scheduled to ship the 30th from Cackle. I was worried too so called the PO yesterday. They said that so far for them it is business as usual.

I would call your supplier as well as the PO in your area.

Personally.....I won't be going to the feed stores to get babies this year. It is a going out and about thing that is not necessary.

I'm noticing more and more lately that our two party system is ridiculous. It should be when you go into a voting booth they give you a list of what each candidate considers most important/priorities to get done, their record, and what they generally believe in on key issues, and who funded their campaign (to whom they are beholden).* Basically there should be resumes in every polling place. They could mention what party the person comes from, but that should be secondary. There is a lot of consensus amongst regular Americans on most issues. They try to divide us into teams so they can sneak terrible people into office, and people won't notice because they are on the 'correct' side. Does anybody really believe that there aren't good and bad people on both sides? Genuine and corrupt? Or people who are right about some things and wrong about others?

I don't mean that to be a political comment. I'm extremely frustrated by what I perceive to be a blatantly corrupt electoral process, both in the past and happening today.

Good for your Governor. Good for your state if they were able to see past party lines and vote for the person most suited for the job. (I don't know anything about your state or governor, sorry. I'm just going off your statement there.)

*That should be nobody but the voters, but right now it obviously hasn't been.

Sorry, I'm venting. I was very upset last night and still am.

Has everybody else seen long lines to get into their grocery stores? I wanted to go to HEB this morning (Texas main grocery store) and the line was almost to the road, even at 9am. Why are people doing that?
I'm gonna go get feed today, maybe I will swing by the grocery store to see what they look like.

Yesterday I went in the evening, but they were out of dry beans. It's frustrating because I'm not trying to hoard, I just typically eat a lot of beans, and happened to run out right before all this madness started. Unless people stop being crazy I can't imagine I'm going to be able to get a bag from the store anytime soon.

We ordered 20 pounds of rice online because all the shelves were empty.
