We rescued a black cat 8 years ago. She's a mess! And I think light animal hair shows up way worse, lol. Have had Golden retrievers and Shelties for years, that hair is BAD!

And oh boy!! You know fur then!!! LOL

Absolutely love Goldens though.

But I swear my cat sheds way more than the dog ever did!!! LOL

No one adopts black or dark colored animals either. It’s so sad.

Obviously cats cause of all the superstition and people don’t like dark dogs either for whatever reason. I think they’re more afraid of them than lighter animals or maybe worry they will be able to see the fur more when they shed or something. Idk. It’s ridiculous. They’re just as good as any other dog.
