Wow really?? Hmm may just have to do that to use up some eggs!! I love fresh pasta too! Will look up some Pinterest recipes! I’m just tired of dessert ideas to use up eggs.
And you can freeze fresh pasta for at least a month. Easy recipe: pasta carbonara. Make your pasta, then cook with whatever veggies you have in the fridge, mushrooms work well if you like them. Scramble an egg and toss it with the hot mix and finish with grated Parmesan cheese. Yum! If you are cooking the whole pound of pasta, toss in 3 or 4 eggs. Tasty!

Maybe this is mean but if I had neighbors that did that I just wouldn’t send them anything. Like accept them and give em to the dogs or something their coats will be shiny.
As a disabled person myself, it would be well within my "rights" to ignore them completely; but there are six children under the age of ten and.... Guess my dog and kitten must get use to shinier coats.

So many wonderful and loving ideas out of this coronavirus inconvenience. Thanks.

My daughter, the ICU nurse, tells us they're running out of what they call "personal protective equipment" -- the disposable gowns, gloves, masks, etc they wear when they care for patients. Doctors are standing in the doors to patients' rooms and communicating with them via cell phones so they don't have to change for every patient. Nurses, OTOH, have to actually be with the patients to clean them, take vital signs, administer meds, etc.

This is a problem for the medical personnel, of course, but it's also important for patients because the medical personnel go from patient to patient and they don't want to be vectors of disease themselves.

Happily, although her hospital has been preparing for this for months, they still have a very modest number of cases. Pretty remarkable luck for a city this size!

Meanwhile, my grandson will be with us for the foreseeable future and the occasional visits from mom may be restricted to the phone and FaceTime. That's a decision she'll be making. I'm so glad he's a happy kid who grew up living in our guest house for his first 7 years so this hasn't seemed strange to him. ...yet.

Not so sure how Easter's going to work this year. At least he's past the Easter Bunny stage and probably wouldn't have had a lot of patience for that stuff anyway at this point. But, surely, he'll want his mom and dad here for the celebration.

. I just wanna k ow when everyone uses all this sanitized stuff and antibiotics all the time hurts you more than not. These drs antibiotics this antibiotics that then when something does break out like the h1n1 or coronavirus its already had time to mutate around all that stuff. It did with the h1n1 I had it twice back to back. Big thing on getting tested and in the end the world was fine. We used all that medication just for the strand to mutate and change to get around all these medications the drs pump us full of. Dont make since to me. I'm not saying it's not bad or not gonna get worse cause it just may but it's not the end of the world tomorrow will still come. Everyone is freaking out and in the end they will have lots of toilet papper as a result..
Please get your medical advice from medical professionals and trusted sources who do extensive testing and research. The CDC has lots of information on their website about what works and what doesn't work to kill the virus. Also, your state's health dept website will have the latest updates for your area. Consumer Reports has a ton of useful information about what you can do and what you shouldn't do.
Lots of small towns are organizing volunteers to run errands, pick up groceries/prescriptions for those at risk people. They are also organizing groups and businesses donating meals and medical supplies to those with limited funds. The small town I live in has a facebook page and a page on NextDoor.com to connect volunteers and people in need. If your area doesn't have something on this order, maybe you can help get one started.
Be smart and be safe. It's important not just for you, but for everyone you come in contact with.
