I love picking my own lettuce on the deck now. I was mad because the hotdog buns we had contained eggs and dairy so I decided a lettuce bun was fine. I walked outside plucked two leaves and chowed down.

I haven't even heard of some of those brands of ice cream.
I get whatever is on sell and just vanilla. Sometimes I'll get crazy and get into the kids cookie dough.
I'll out myself as a real hillbilly but my actual favorite is snow ice cream with nestle strawberry mix.

I like both ice cream and salads... sounds like a winning combo in the summer! Favorite salad is simply a cobb. Oddly I hate making my own, I'd rather have someone else do it.

Ice cream gets kinda expensive for me, I buy a lot of local brands. Upwards of $7, 8 a pint is a lot! But I figure if I'm going to eat it, might as well eat something that truly feels like a treat.

I made lasagna a couple nights ago! DH loves it and doesn’t mind eating it for days on end! Hope yours turns out yummy!

Always does. We will get 6 meals from it since I made a big batch. Some will be frozen for later.

Thank you! The two horse stalls are concrete with full sliding metal doors and the coop has footers all the way around and heavy breathable stiff metal screens up half way, but the upper half is being sealed in with chicken wire (4-5 ft and above. What do u think about the top half..should I use something different? Thanks in advance!

Is there any way predators can get in the barn at night? If so, I would suggest 2"x4" garden fencing, welded wire is even better.

Hardware cloth, well secured, not chicken wire!
Basically, no openings larger than 1/2" diameter anywhere to keep your chickens safe, especially at night. Sliding stall door often can have gaps wider than that somewhere, and won't work for your coop if that's true.

I think Hood and Friendlys are both local to New England haha Tillamook I think is Midwest or maybe North Pacific. Not sure about Turkey Hill haha honestly though the local ones are good haha

I love cookie dough along with mint chocolate chip and cookies & cream and lots of other kinds haha I also love strawberry, peach, and blueberry and other fruit ones haha
