AWWWW!! Is yours a husky?

That would be Delilah the Malamute. On the 16th my son is picking up a second hairball. The new one is a silver female.
Ahlua will be her name. Pronounced like kahlua but no K.

Just heard some bad news....
Because of the covid 19 our little town and the next one over have both cancelled their city wide garage sale days scheduled in May.
Now what will I do with my day without my wife dragging home a truck load of cr@p that we don't need but was too cheap to pass up.
For me that day usually entals heavy lifting, loading, unloading and trying to find a place to put it all.
I am crushed.

You sound like my dad 😂 My mom does the same thing to him and he is happy that there are no garage sales this year. Except now my mom made a honey to-do list and so far he has made a sink vanity, an 8 ft long dinner table, redone all the grass, and I'm sure there's more. She keeps him young I guess.

Yes thats our husky named Grimm. We have a second already. A light red female named Aurora.
I'm new to breed. Just got them back in December as a christmas present for the wife.

Husky and Malamute have some big differences. The most notable is bone size. Mals are big boned while husky are more nimble and sleek.
Mals are also a more dominant type dog. They can be very stubborn.

I half wish my son had chosen husky as the breed he wanted. Malamutes in a multi dog house can be problematic.

My friend has a Malamute and it is a bad boy 😂 She is a vet technician so she knows a lot about dogs, but this dog is ridiculous.

They are RIDICULOUS!
Our first male made just one noise for the vet visits..... "GRRRRRRRR!"
This female is shy and twitchy and yes scared of her shadow literally.
It actually makes her more dangerous......that whole cornered dog fight or flight thing.
I can do pretty much whatever with her and my son can do whatever with her but others should not attempt.
