It feels like this thread is slowing a lot. Just down to banter and memes. Or has it been like that all along :D :D

I wish I had more space so I could have cows. Anyone know of large farm, with all equipment, for sale, cheap? :)

I'm telling you, it was the tiger cow. It broke stuff. šŸ˜†

And inexpensive cattle set up? Don't think such a thing exists.

I think we're ALL slowing down a bit! This whole mess has gotten so OLD that it's hard to stay upbeat, sometimes.
To top it all off, at least for me, my day just got a whole lot darker. My brother called to tell me that the reason my Dad looked so awful during last week's through-the-storm-door-glass visit is because he has congestive heart failure. They sent him home with more lasix. No non-emergency surgeries allowed. He lives literally six blocks from both a hospital and his doctors and can't/won't be admitted because of the virus.
Ummmm ... heart failure? Sounds like an emergency to me! I'm thinking that this just has him too tired to push further. My heart is breaking. As old as I am, I want my Daddy!

:hugsSending hugs and support.

And you are right, I think we are all getting worn down. Personally I'm sad about the protests and people flocking out in places like there never was a virus. Like there still isn't a virus around.
The behavior is going to kill more people and put the rest of us at a higher risk.

:hugsto @MROO. I think maybe they are trying to keep people out of the hospitals to keep them from getting the virus there, if that makes sense. Prayers for your Dad. This is such a difficult time!

And @SnapdragonQ: the head elder at my church is rarin' to go and get church services going this week... and I'm just not ready. Our family had to make a quick road trip Sunday to get DH's stuff from her boarding school, and I think we were the only ones wearing masks anywhere! At gas stations for rest stops, it was crazy. What are people thinking? Scary. I'm staying home.

I know the churches here want to get back to normal services too.

Last week there was a funeral at the tiny church across the road from the end of my long driveway (I'm on a ridge and can see all around) and there was probably 75 people there. Far more than the church itself even holds, and they were outside, but no one was distancing and no masks at all.
It was hard to know how to feel...sad about the death and the funeral, but to have such a gathering at a time when that's not allowed and people across the country can't do the same for their loved one is unfair.
Now I'm hoping that all of them were healthy otherwise it's going to become it's own outbreak here.
People in my area are just not taking this as seriously as they should.

On the few occasions I have been anywhere since March, we're the only ones wearing masks and acting like this is real.
