Do you really expect me to believe your post? "Lose anything" gezzz!![]()
No, I will NOT just skip this, but you are totally forgiven your self-doubts!
No birds at the moment? SO WHAT! Your experience and wisdom is needed, here. YOU are needed here!
You need to get back on your antidepressants for the duration of this Covid mess. If it helps, don't think of it as forever, just to get you back on your feet through and past this. It is NOT a defeat, just a setback. You've gotten past the depression before, with a little help. You can do it again ... partly because now you know that the medication therapy WORKS!
If you need the bus, TAKE IT! If you have to explain to the dispatcher about your brother's infirmities and distance, so be it ... tell her to send him the BUS!
Contact your church, slash that, contact ANY local church. Someone there will know of resources for you. Contact your local BSA/ Boy Scout Council, too. There are many, many bored youth out there who want and need to keep doing their "Daily Good Deed." You'll be surprised at how many will jump forward to help, if they are just asked. I have a feeling a lot of young men ... and now a few young women, as well, ... will earn their Eagle by doing what Scouts do best ... Helping! Give them the chance!
Get the batteries. Splurge if you need to, but get them. Your life is worth saving.
And go ahead and contact your son. He doesn't have to be an ATM, but he DOES need to know how you are doing. He may even have a few friends or know of others "back home" who would be willing to help you out.
And lastly, I have a question for you ...
We're supposed to clean out our gutters?
Prayers and Hugs ... stick with us, Friend!

My roo has your "marbles" and won't give them back!I've lost several things... including my marbles!
I drove to Mexico one weekend, and misplaced my car. just FYI.I don’t!!! I’ve occasionally misplaced something temporarily, like my keys or sunglasses or whatever, but other than that, I can remember exactly where something I put years ago and haven’t touched since is, despite the mess haha
I only really “lose” stuff if my mom moves it. Which she does constantly. Usually without telling me.
She moves (and loses) everyone’s stuff.
But I usually don’t lose anything.
