I’m so sad about the chicken swaps. Those are my favorite thing in the spring and summer. People don’t know what they are missing
The swaps are starting up again, but most are too far for me to drive.

Blame the cat.
Nope ... at our house, the standard response is, "Duffy did it!"Duffy was my ex's cocker spaniel, a pet store puppy without a mean bone is his entire body. Dear, sweet Duffy never caused a minute of trouble - at least not intentionally or through misbehavior - in all of his seventeen years with us ... It's our way of remembering him!

59 tbird, still in love with it after all these years!
I had a '59 T-Bird! It was old and tired - all original, white with a beat-up aqua interior. It was also the most temperamental thing I've ever driven, but I LOVED it! It was in the pre-off-the-market-parts era, and I was a struggling college kid who couldn't afford to keep up the repairs. When the tie-rod ends went and they had to be custom-made, I finally had to throw in the proverbial towel. I cried as the new owner towed it away. It still makes me sad. :hitI sure wish I had it, now!

Which was the one that had the big fins that met in the back? What year was that? Or do I have the wrong car?

Little bitty fins, but fins just the same!
This wasn't mine ( I could wish!) But it's a great pic of what mine was supposed to look like! It also came in a convertible - which mine was not. The 58-60 birds were four-seaters. The original T-Birds - 55-57 were the snazzy little two-seater convertibles. My then-boyfriend had a 56 he found in a barn when his parents bought their farm. He restored it all by hand and it was truly a thing of beauty. That's how I ended up with the '59. It was going to be our next restoration party ... but you know how those things go, sometimes ...
