My husband has lost our tape measure I don’t know how many times in the past couple months

I must have about 8 tape measures, most I can locate are 3.

Nope ... at our house, the standard response is, "Duffy did it!"Duffy was my ex's cocker spaniel, a pet store puppy without a mean bone is his entire body. Dear, sweet Duffy never caused a minute of trouble - at least not intentionally or through misbehavior - in all of his seventeen years with us ... It's our way of remembering him!

I had a '59 T-Bird! It was old and tired - all original, white with a beat-up aqua interior. It was also the most temperamental thing I've ever driven, but I LOVED it! It was in the pre-off-the-market-parts era, and I was a struggling college kid who couldn't afford to keep up the repairs. When the tie-rod ends went and they had to be custom-made, I finally had to throw in the proverbial towel. I cried as the new owner towed it away. It still makes me sad. I sure wish I had it, now!

Little bitty fins, but fins just the same!
This wasn't mine ( I could wish!) But it's a great pic of what mine was supposed to look like! It also came in a convertible - which mine was not. The 58-60 birds were four-seaters. The original T-Birds - 55-57 were the snazzy little two-seater convertibles. My then-boyfriend had a 56 he found in a barn when his parents bought their farm. He restored it all by hand and it was truly a thing of beauty. That's how I ended up with the '59. It was going to be our next restoration party ... but you know how those things go, sometimes ...
