Well apparently I have a Covid story for the day too . Went to a small farmer's market (like 4-5 booths small... I'll take what I can get) and they have a guy in the front to monitor traffic and check for masks. Well guess someone wanted in and didn't want to comply, so the worker turned him away. Guy immediately starts screaming "You're all government sheep! This is a conspiracy! There's no disease! Don't be fooled you sheep!"

Everyone paused to look at him (never know who has a gun or whatnot nowadays) then went back to shopping. Guy skedaddled pretty quick when some cops who were also shopping began making their way towards him.



Oh they still clutter up the kitchen. In between wash cycles the dishwasher is still my drying rack for everything that needs handwashing, so all the dishwasher-able stuff gets piled on the side.

I was already wearing masks in public before this virus so I guess it’s no different for me.

I need to get a pretty mask made though.

We were just starting to get back most of the money we lost in the stock market and down it goes again. I swear the market is making my hair turn grey!

I was finally brave enough to look at mine, just yesterday. I'm glad I waited. Seeing the numbers from the past two months before they started to rebound a bit would have finished me off!

Am I remembering correctly but didn't a security guard get killed about 2 months ago for trying to enforce social distancing and mask wearing?

Heard something today I think goes in the "good news" file: although we've passed the 2 million mark of number of cases of Covid-19 in the US, without taking the pro-active steps we did, that number likely would have been 60 million by now! So when we think of all the sacrifices that have been made (thank you, front-line workers, Class of 2020, people who are working from home, everyone who is doing their part, you know who you are!), just know that it has been and continues to be so very worth it! Wash hands, stay home, mask up, social distancing, it's all working to save lives, keep it up! Be of good courage, there will be a vaccine someday!

There must be a reason that a country (USA) with a mere 4% of the global population continues to have approximately 25% of the globe's cases and deaths. We have done something wrong. Or should I say, not nearly as good of a response as other countries.
I think Americans just don't have much patience.

A "seal" is usually a mildly time consuming easy task.
Our close washer has a front loading door and I've changed its door gasket/seal 4-5 times since we got it in 2007/8. Over all I really like it. Inn omparison to the previous toploader that used a "typical" 60/odd gallons per load and this bosch used at Max 23 gallons per load. So that's my tangent for the night......

Oh and forgot to add it too is a Bosch series front loader.

Considering that the previous administration set up a pendemic response team, a pandemic playbook, and a few other CDC/WHO details and the current one threw it all in the litteral round file it's no wonder the folks at the CDC had their hands tied with lack of staff, politically installed muzzles, and complete lack of leadership by those who are supposed to be in charge. It's obvious when the States try to do their level best and then try to band together (in small groups on each coast) to try to protect themselves when the fed. Admin refuses to even acknowledge the pink elephant in the room for 4-6 months .......how is that for fact based historical timeline without [Edited to fix auto-correct here] naming names or going "political" as some might say? How could I of detailed(in general terms) this historical failure by the fed & by default our nation because of a complete reversal of leadership? Could I have worded this any 'better' or more neutral?

Last few nights I have been so tired.... Litterally minutes to second from laying in bed, putting on CPAP to falling asleep.....
