I’m not really sure why I do it but I just do. But lately I’ve been going faster than even I like. I don’t even really mean to, I I just do. Like I kind of keep slowly over the last few years going faster and faster. I didn’t even like going the speed limit or on the highway when I first drove and even 70 (our limit is 60-65) was fast. Then I eventually started doing 70s more often but 80 was still fast. Then I started pretty regularly doing high 70s, mid to low 80s. now lately it’s mid to high 80s and low 90s a lot yesterday I hit like 95. But I don’t like doing that because the wheel seems a bit loose or something lately, idk, I feel much more out of control, but idk, I just kind of accidentally have started going that fast more regularly. it used to be an occasional thing by accident like if I was going down hill or something and now I’m regularly flying down the highway.

I really need to slow down even if it’s only to 70s or something at first because this 90 carp is just absurd. I mean, people die at even 50 or 60, let alone 90 or 95

I mean, I’d probably be dead instantly if I crashed at that speed. There wouldn’t even be a hospital or recovery.

I definitely don’t want that so I really need to practice slowing down. Plus I’m burning through all my gas flying like that.

Oddly I’m lucky and have never gotten a ticket yet. Maybe that’s why. But I’m going to get one and it’s going to be big bucks and skyrocket the insurance especially considering I’ve had my license under 5 years. Probably considered newer or higher risk or whatever already even without the ticket. Need to work on it for real. But also I think for a brief time I really didn’t care if I crashed, maybe even wanted it, but I definitely don’t want that now. So I need to quit it.

Because like I get scared going that fast and slow down right away

Idk why so do it but I DO NOT like going 90s. That’s just too much. It terrifies me and I feel really out of control of the car.

So I’m gonna start going slower. I only do it in open roads though, not congested ones or curvy or anything like that. But still not safe.

Yeah I hadn’t really thought of that I try to only do it if there’s not many cars around like if it’s open but probably still super stupid and dangerous.

I honestly don’t even know why I even started going that fast to begin with because I don’t even like it!! It scares me. I think maybe I sometimes get distracted by the music or the view or something and am not paying attention to how fast I’m going.

I think just simply paying attention would go a long way towards helping me slow down.

I always forget that’s even a thing!!! That would probably be a good idea!!! I should start using that!!
