... watermelon bath....
.
I specifically was thinking there was data from them that have data like percentage of those who wore /mask/ppe/etal and the then the estimated percentage of those who didn't.... Just as one detail.electrykmonk, you're talking small, geographically isolated areas where they are able to exert control over ingress of the virus. Iceland is unique in that they've chosen not to limit tourism -- though tourists have to isolate before they travel within Iceland. They've also generously offered up their experience as a laboratory to scientists studying progression of the virus.
What I think is more interesting is Canada which has a large, spread out population here in North America with a long border with our out-of-control spread. They've had their spikes and their lulls but, by virtue of a robust public health system, universal access to medical care and a responsible and responsive government, they've kept their disease load at a fraction of ours.
Oooo - pictures of the earrings, please! My poured/dipped candles are going well. They look smooth and shiny.
Cocoa bombs are going slow - hard to temper chocolate in a warm steamy house.
My sister dropped off groceries to me and a few crafting supplies. I've got some earrings to make out of rabbit bones. :O So we got 14K plated hooks and craft wire to make them.
Oooo - pictures of the earrings, please!
Unfortunately, some lessons come harder than others. Prayers for all ... and understanding, rather than, "I told you so's" ... Humble Pie is hard to eat and Crow is hard on the digestion, even when you're not sick!Just received a call about my friend whose son tested positive after Thanksgiving. My friend, his wife, and the son's girlfriend are also positive. I'm afraid that others from this celebration will also be positive.![]()
Really can't compare US to Canada. We are actually about the same size wise, but we are hundreds of millions population compared to tens of millions, we are ten times the population.electrykmonk, you're talking small, geographically isolated areas where they are able to exert control over ingress of the virus. I don't know what a "watermelon bath" is either but it reminds me that when I was a teen we used to throw a watermelon in the pool. Did you know they float?
We played water polo with them and dodgeball and generally had a ball. By the time we took a melon out and cut it open, the chlorine in the water had bleached them WHITE! Too weird. ...but FUN!
