Thanks! but I'm a half step ahead, there ... I downloaded it when you first posted the "new" pattern! I have a few ready to cut out, so I'll let you know how it holds up against DD's "favorite." I just got some great cow print fabric for appliques, so I have a feeling she won't care too much about style. As long as she gets herself a guernsey mask, she'll be thrilled!If you're doing masks I've switch to this fitted pattern. It's easy to do, it comes in many sizes and they're comfortable to wear. You can make them in the fold-flat style that she illustrates in her video or align the diagonals on the inside and make a boxier version that stands away from the mouth.
I use 2 layers of quilting cottons and line the inside with a third fuzzy flannel layer for comfort.
