I see this thread went all over the place since I last posted. Now I'm hungry!

I didn't get a Christmas or New Year's celebration this year because I am still dealing with COVID. I'm still exhausted, and I got a chest wall infection that makes breathing and talking painful. Everyone else in my household recovered very quickly. Mine has dragged on and on and on... I'm hoping I can go back to work next week after a month off. I still can't taste or smell anything, and I can't even take a shower without needing to sit down. COVID sucks, yo. But I am grateful as all get put that I never developed the pneumonia!

But - of course - I sincerely hope everyone is well! I keep hearing of loved ones dying...

Thanks, EM, I've always wondered what a Black Cow was. 😊👍 Don't think I've ever had one. Don't know what geographic area or what era you might be referring to ... I grew up in Denver in the 60's. We were just too poor to afford cola and ice cream at the same time! 🤣
There's an honest to goodness drive-in in our town that sells Black Cows. They're too sweet for me - lol!

Always make me think of that Steely Dan song...

Oooooooh, pickled asparagus sounds GREAT.
I like my plain tortilla chips in queso blanco.
Yogurt is sorely under utilized in my house and it shouldn't be because it's actually OK for you and very tasty. ;o;

Monk, my partner used to have those issues. He went to 119 once and he's 6'2". Spooky. Eat well and take care of yourself!

Looks like it's going to be pulled rabbit sandwiches for dinner tomorrow. Maybe tomato soup with it.
Kiddos L-O-V-E my yogurt modding!
Consider adding ricotta cheese up to but, not over 50/50 with yogurt. Kiddos ready dig it with the fruit mixed together... They will pour it over cereal and go to town every day of the week if we let them (smirks)

As I was 6'2" at my peak... Have lost some due to gravity and age. oh. I do take care of my eating.... Been rock solid diet/lifestyle for over 20 years at the weight of 170.

Asparagus is really good after cooking with italian seasonings before dunked in dill juice!

Can not go wrong with almost any queso (except the fake cheese brick) sorry, I draw the hard line in the ground at that stuff. Nevermore.....

Idk, I feel like it's nicer than some things. Like it takes effort to make from items you have to put away in their proper place after and you don't look down at the orange fingers and crumbs in the bag and plastic wrappers everywhere afterwards and feel terrible. XD It feels like... A normal dessert.
Nope! Finger lickin' good is. It's. Own. Reward!

Under radar. *Totally get it* Totally!
May I ask for a over head view drawing on a sheet of notebook paper? (Don't worry about to scale) just get the current setup to be *at most* only 1/2 to area on the sheet of paper (8 1/2 X 10 stuff, ya know?)
Might be able offer rough drafted up suggestions
I can do you one better:

I hope you found it comfy or at least tolerable to sleep on your stomach or side?

Change of subject for a min. DH and I under "house arrest" hopefully just one more day. Last Thursday we both had some concerning symptoms so decided to go get the Uncomfortable Nasal Swab. Coughing, fever (100.0), body ache, headache, loss of appetite, conjunctivitis (yes, pinkeye!), earache, sore throat, for me, mostly just coughing for DH... results tomorrow or Monday, but we and both kiddos on lockdown till we hear. DH still suffering, along with coughing he seems to have a lot of anxiety and can't settle. My symptoms have improved but not completely gone so I'm thinking sinus infection from allergies. Kiddos showing minor signs, mild symptoms. Fingers crossed! Will keep you posted.
