You went to the buckets again. 😂
What's wrong with putting things plainly? Just being earnest in my presentation of information.
There's no way to leave out information to support my point/disprove your point when it's as simple as marbles and buckets. I’m happy to offer a different one if you’d like. You can argue for any point when you only choose to present information that helps your point.
For instance I can argue that the rising positivity rates across the country despite ever increasing vaccines are evidence that the vaccines are ineffective. However, the vast majority of these new cases are being seen in the younger generation which in many places are not eligible to be vaccinated, so it has no real correlation with vaccine efficiency.

I think a very important point is being missed. As yet, there is not enough data to state that any of the vaccines prevent anyone catching Covid. The vaccines were not designed with that purpose in mind.
What the vaccines were designed for is to help prevent serious illness should a person become infected. The basic idea being that fewer people will die and/or become seriously ill from Covid.
It is reasonable to expect the infection rate to increase as the vaccine reaches more and more people. Many of those who would have sheltered in place un-vaccinate are likely to relax their social distancing and hygiene routines once vaccinated and thus make more contact with others offering increased paths for the virus to spread.
Infection rate statistics, while showing the often vaunted R number are not really informative. What most are concerned about is dying from the virus and/or becoming seriously ill.
The death rate ascribed to Covid relative to the population that we should be looking at. This also applies to the risk of becoming ill from being vaccinated.
Currently in many cases, if a dead person registers positive for Covid it's likely that Covid will be given as the cause of death and add to the statistics. This may end up being the most misleading data until stricter controls and investigations into the actual cause of death are implemented.
There have been deaths attributed to vaccination. The percentage relative to the number of people vaccinated is statistically insignificant. Not only is the data insignificant, it is in many case unproven. While it is reasonable to diagnose the cause of death as a bullet wound when the dead person has a bullet in their brain, the cause of death when it comes to Covid is rather more complicated.

Here they stopped vaccinating people under 60 with AZ, because in my country there where 5 young(er) woman with a rare kind of thrombosis and one of them died. Which is a very-very-very low risk. They just cancelled appointments.

They even don’t let the younger people at risk (lung diseases, obese, diabetes or metabolic disease,...) decide for it themselves after giving the proper information. Doctors say now they should have left this decision to the patients after consulting their doctors. Because its not a better option for a lot of these younger people to wait another month or 2 to get another vaccine.

Where is the evidence of this?
Don’t you think that if the entire (small as it is) sample size of vaccinated folks that tested positive ALL had variants that would be the bigger news? They wouldn’t be flaunting that wimpy 5% around. Again it seems like we agree on the fundamental points and that you’re choosing to accept only the details that support your position.

No, I think it’s much more likely that at least a good number of these cases involved those that were infected or exposed prior to the second vaccination, as we discussed pages back the resistance takes some time to build and there is a grey area of time where you can be both vaccinated and get sick.
I truly hope your not counting on the main stream media to tell you the truth about anything, and I mean ANYTHING!!

I am 55 and on the waiting list for AZ and to be honest I'm not thrilled about it but that is the only vaccine they are offering my age group. I'm scared of catching covid and I'm scared of any vaccine. They are only giving AZ to age 55 and up here right now. Our numbers are rising and we are in lock down with a stay at home order but lock downs don't seem to do much because what I see is people ignoring it and still gathering.

I get information from multiple places, including Medscape, EPOCH Times

These news outlets you’ve linked aren’t interested in clearly presenting all the facts from the study for many reasons, but partially because they want the material to be easily consumable, by the masses, at the cost of clarity and any semblance of unbias.

I truly hope your not counting on the main stream media to tell you the truth about anything, and I mean ANYTHING!!
Interesting. So the media is only dishonest in a way that supports your point rather than a broader sense of dishonesty pandering to both sides, depending on the news outlet? I haven’t noticed you voicing any concerns about the reliability of all these news articles before. You even say you read this one too!
You’ll notice I haven’t brought any news reports or other sorts of journalism into this thread. Everything I used to disprove that foolish Israeli study came from the information published by those that conducted the study, not the information that best suited FOX, Epoch, CNN, or NBC’s headline the best.

Just got my jab! Sitting in the “make sure it doesn’t kill you” post-poke waiting area. Got the J&J vaccine. I get anxious about such things, but it had to be done.
This reminds me that I forgot to mention that I got my second shot a few weeks ago. I had mentioned the first one here and then forgot to mention the second one. 😂🙈 My dad got his second one too. Not sure about my mom. Her and I got Pfizer and he got Moderna. We just took whatever they had haha
