It was so weird going into a store the other day and I forgot my mask in the car so rna back to get it only to discover no one else was wearing one not even the employees. There were a couple customers that were and I had mine on at first but then I felt awkward and took it off. I would’ve rather worn it or at least just am so used to wearing it but I felt dumb :lau I know some stores though are still requiring people to wear them or requesting rather
Don’t feel dumb. Many people wear masks for allergies, or maybe your immunodepressed. I will wear mask when I see fit.

At work we get to quit wearing masks if we choose to, two weeks after getting our last vaccine, and for me this will be Monday! I'll still wear a mask when walking around or working in certain areas, but I'll go without it in my own cubicle and at meetings. Can't wait!

And no, we aren't required to provide any kind of official proof or "vaccine passport" to our workplace, we just have to tell our manager when we're fully vaccinated, and then check a box on our Human Resources website, same site we go to request vacations.

We're on the "honor system" but if it's later found out we lied about our vaccine status and endangered our coworkers, we'll be terminated. And those of us who choose not to get vaccinated and not risk termination by lying about it, just have to keep coming to work in a mask.

I think this is a good way of handling things.

We have to show vacc card to HR for our free personal day they gave us. I have heard some places are just doing "honor system".
They told us here we have to continue masks until they get 80% vaccinated.
I doubt that will ever happen.
I think we are around four people that has had covid in our plant this whole time, out of around 120 workers.

Here they vaccinate the people who had Covid in the last 6 months, only once with . It seems that this is just as good as 2 vaccinations withouth having Covid before.

And they stopped giving first shots of AZ and stopped recommending the Janssen vaccine for people who have no problem to get a second shot. Because the Pfizer and Moderna both give a better protection and have less side effects. Other vaccines from China or Russia are not available here.

I also read that the surplus of vaccines is donated to Suriname in South America now. They got into trouble because of the spreading of the Brazilian variation. There’s a relation with Surinam and many people originating from Surinam live in the Netherlands bc it used to be a colony of The Netherlands.

At my (small) office we are all fully vaccinated within 6 weeks. So in august we don’t need to schedule anymore who has to work at home.

Well, NJ has gone pretty much maskless. We went to a craft show today and then ate at an outdoor restaurant. Perhaps 10% of folks were masked. It's estimated that NJ is 60% vaccinated. It will be interesting to see whether or not there is an uptick in cases in a month or so.

Still weird for me not wearing a mask but it does feel good, like we may be going back to a little normalcy.
Still see people wearing masks.
NY weeks ago did away with mask mandate if vaccinated.
Heard today I haven't researched or looked it up yet but heard our Govenor did away with all mask mandates for schools and camps but left it up to them if they require them.
Here Walmart about 50/50, gas stations and grocery stores and other smaller stores more not masked hard to say for sure % cause it varies. Stopped at a BJ's wholesale store not sure if anyone else has them, was kinda different there over 90% masked. Stopped at a Harbor Freight they still require masks so 100%.
