The whole world has been upside down for far too long. Still is pretty messed up on the manufacturing front. Start of this thread what, over a yr ago now, I work at a dairy plant billions of gallons of milk dumped every month just in our state.
Even today still happening just less frequently. Talking to truck drivers delivering to our plant same thing happening other places they go. Orders are in, demand there, milk delivered, plant at a stand still because they can't get packaging materials. No cups or jugs to put it in.
Same thing going on with most other industries.
Sure you've all heard about the computer chip shortage on vehicles, they're still making them just can't sell them cause no computer chips so prices jacked up like crazy!!

It was so weird going into a store the other day and I forgot my mask in the car so rna back to get it only to discover no one else was wearing one not even the employees. There were a couple customers that were and I had mine on at first but then I felt awkward and took it off. I would’ve rather worn it or at least just am so used to wearing it but I felt dumb :lau I know some stores though are still requiring people to wear them or requesting rather
I still wear a mask and will for some time to come. Down here we have too many “it’s a hoax” mentality, etc around. I haven’t gotten the shots yet because of my lungs and the delay with seeing my VA doc.....

Thankfully there isn’t really that around here as much, most everybody wore masks when they were required, but it’s like as soon as they weren’t they just ripped them off hahah which, I mean, I get but I’m just still feeling a little weird about it, you know? Just got so used to them hahah

In the Netherlands everyone above 40 could have their first vaccination now.
11 million dosis in a population of 17.5 million. But they don’t say /can’t tell how many people are vaccinated c or only once.

This in combination with the nice summer weather the numbers in hospital went down quickly. Even though not necessary shops, terraces, library’s museums, theaters and universities are partially open. The primary schools, day-care and highschools are completely open now.

Towns and villages that still have a lot of outbreaks are mainly the religious towns were many people don’t want a vaccine.

In my town the numbers with Covid infected go up and down because students didn’t get a vaccination and often don’t distance. But they are young and not at serious risk. The ones with medical issues are vaccinated too. So happy the students rarely pass it on to the elderly anymore! And people who are vaccinated and are infected don’t get very sick. They don’t come in the hospitals anymore thats for sure. No matter what type of vaccine someone had.
