FWIW, my work started with no proof...they require proof now. I don't know how that works legally, but I guess the legal dept thinks the way they're doing it will be fine.
In my country it is not allowed to ask employees if they are vaccinated and they certainly can not ask for proof if they are vaccinated either . This is bit strange because with travelling abroad and going to music theaters and festivals, it is allowed to do so.

To enter festivals, night clubs and theaters they need to ask for a non-covid proof before entering. This can be a recent negative test result or a completed vaccination. We have a registration system and a app that’s showing a QR- code if you are safe. This started last week. But it doesn’t work flawless and a nightclub already had an outbreak.

Anyone find statistics on the delta strain ?
I've been looking high and wide. In other countries. Our media has been compromised so checking others.
So far I haven't saw death rates increasing anywhere.
Actually, trying to find out how to create a link or find video, Sky News Australia reports delta strain is yes way more contagious, but far less deadly. Like 0.08% compared to alpha version 1-2%.

No sign of delta in my small county yet. My work just decided we don’t need masks as long as we are vaccinated. But also we can’t ask people for proof they are vaccinated, so it’s basically nobody will wear a mask anymore. I am fully vaccinated but I still wear mine because I work in the children’s section (at the public library) and the littles can’t get vaccinated yet. Probably an overkill, but I don’t want to risk getting them sick.

My work required proof for free personal day they offered, we have a HR (human resources). DW when she finally went back to work after a yr of making more on unemployment than she ever made (went back because she didn't want to wait till they cut the bonus for being on unemployment and have to deal with mad rush of people scrambling for jobs) her work had no HR, not sure if that makes a difference on HIPAA law, maybe, she didn't have to show proof to get paid 8hrs for getting vaccinated. May have had something to do with HIPAA.
At my work they finally did away with masks for vaccinated according to CDC guidelines. Nobody wearing masks now and I know many haven't been vaccinated.

Heading to Tioga Downs casino tomorrow with DW. They are giving away $25,000 after fireworks show. Ten people $2,500, just have to show proof of vaccination to get entry to drawing. Prob best chance we've had of winning some $$ at a casino. Just had to get shot up with a experimental vaccine now maybe we can win some $$

Well, someone at our hospital told me that the number of COVID cases was in the 30's, but the next day when the extra government money dried up for COVID cases, the number dropped to 2! Not saying COVID wasn't serious, but it may have been exaggerated to some extent. My wife, daughter, & I have not been vaccinated. We've been exposed twice and I never had any symptoms while my daughter and wife had two weeks of fatigue. We live in a rural environment, get plenty of exercise and fresh air, and only visit the markets when necessary. That's just our daily routine, but the one change which occurred was that the YMCA cancelled Pickleball so the additional exercise that I got three mornings weekly dried up. It is tough getting back to where we were at the beginning of last year. Living in a busy city would have been a lot different.

Ah, thank you! I've been double-vaccinated since early March, but have continued to wear my mask to support my kiddo. He's 7 years old, and I figured it'd be less lonely if I kept mine on. Remember -- no vaccine is available in the US for children 11 years or younger yet...
