Those hand blow dryers, anyone remember Jamesway department stores? Everytime I see one I think of Jamesway we had town near us. Originally they had in bathroom, prob early 80's a revolving towel to dry hands if you hit wet spot turn it good... it was in like a actual towel dispenser but cloth and attached, just turn and hope hit dry spot... Then they got a state of the art sanitary blow dryer  we'd stand under it and just blow dry our heads or whatever lol.

The Attorney Generals office finally called me back and told me someone from the complaints department will call me this week. Dollar General District Manager called back friday and said " I am sorry I was out not able to call do to getting Covid for the second time." I think this is an excuse do to other knowledge I have. He said he couldn't do anything I suggested because of the rules and standards the company has. ( I suggested night shift stocking and/or semi trailer at the back of the store.) I spoke to city hall and they agreed with me, and the store wouldn't need a permit. ) I then asked him if he was going by standards and rules, why was he ignoring the laws? Basicly he blamed his employees and said if they don't start doing their job correctly they would be fired. He did confirm he spoke with the fire chief. He asked when I could come back in. I told him the 15th he swore to me everything will be in order and I will be able to shop. He said he would also give me a gift card for all the inconvenience. He also gave me his number to call, if there are any problems at all, while still at the store so he could deal with it right then. So, we will see soon.
Wow I am so happy I hope he isn’t just blowing smoke.

As to those hand blowers. I was using one that had a nice little "instructions for use" sign posted with it, that said:

1. Push start button.
2. Rub hands gently beneath vent.
3. Turns off automatically.

Underneath, someone had hand written in:

4. Rub hands on pants.

Yup, we all know the drill.

Fauci is pushing boosters but Dr. Oz is calling on him to resign for "misleading the public"
The calling on him to resign isn't from what he has done as far as covid, but his lying under oath, when he said we didn't about funding gain of function research after documents were shown that U.S. tax dollars were used to help fund gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

You are correct here but in accordance to the rules we do not discuss politics

Dont forget overpriced!

I have to share this story because the DH has a really nasty habit of ticking me off on purpose and then making up for it 100 percent.

My husband is a Scrooge. Every year he waits to shop on christmas eve. Last year I shopped ahead to help him out and bought gifts for everyone except myself...because, well...I peek. Kinda have to peek to buy a gift for yourself. He waited until christmas eve to go buy me a gift. I was so furious at him. This year Ive made a point that we need to shop early because of the supply chain issues. I took him out on monday and had him drop me off at kohls so he could shop for me. I asked him when he picked me up how it went. "Oh Ive just been sitting in the parking lot waiting for you". Oh dear Lord, I thought, not again. Hubby came home from work today and I told him that Im almost done shopping for christmas.
"Well, I dont want to torture you anymore. But you didnt even see it."
There under the tree was a poorly wrapped gift for me. It took him 3 days to come off it. Hes such a jerk :lau
At least he wrapped it himself! And he should get credit for doing it early

We had Covid at thanksgiving. Three of us are vaccinated and two aren’t. The unvaccinated daughter brought it home from work, and I’m typically the caretaker if someone is sick so I got it. My daughter and the youngest grandson were the other two. Started like allergies. My case was much milder than the daughter. I had a low grade fever for 3 days and a headache, plus the cough and nasal congestion. Her fever was higher, lasted longer and she had body aches for days, plus congestion was more severe. We lost our taste and smell. The grandson hardly had any symptoms and breezes right through it, but also lost taste and smell.

Hubs, also vaccinated, hung out with me the whole long weekend, slept in the same bed as me, and he never got sick. I used hand sanitizer before I left the bed, Lysol wipes on anything I touched that was common for others to touch every time I went to the bathroom or the kitchen, and we opened windows and doors to let in fresh air.

I read an article about the difference between the PCR test and the antigen tests. PCR are extremely sensitive and amplify any virus found in your sample. You can test positive for quite some time after you become asymptomatic. The antigen test is sufficient to tell you whether you’re still infectious or not. If you had Covid and are over the symptoms for the most part and the antigen test says you’re negative, you’re probably ok to resume normal life even if a PCR test says you’re positive. So many things to learn about this thing.
