We had Covid at thanksgiving. Three of us are vaccinated and two aren’t. The unvaccinated daughter brought it home from work, and I’m typically the caretaker if someone is sick so I got it. My daughter and the youngest grandson were the other two. Started like allergies. My case was much milder than the daughter. I had a low grade fever for 3 days and a headache, plus the cough and nasal congestion. Her fever was higher, lasted longer and she had body aches for days, plus congestion was more severe. We lost our taste and smell. The grandson hardly had any symptoms and breezes right through it, but also lost taste and smell.

Hubs, also vaccinated, hung out with me the whole long weekend, slept in the same bed as me, and he never got sick. I used hand sanitizer before I left the bed, Lysol wipes on anything I touched that was common for others to touch every time I went to the bathroom or the kitchen, and we opened windows and doors to let in fresh air.

I read an article about the difference between the PCR test and the antigen tests. PCR are extremely sensitive and amplify any virus found in your sample. You can test positive for quite some time after you become asymptomatic. The antigen test is sufficient to tell you whether you’re still infectious or not. If you had Covid and are over the symptoms for the most part and the antigen test says you’re negative, you’re probably ok to resume normal life even if a PCR test says you’re positive. So many things to learn about this thing.
Glad you're feeling better :thumbsup . when my brother had it he said it felt like a really bad sinus infection

Thanks! It was a mild flu like thing for me, but the aftermath is interesting. I’m still quite easily tired and my taste/smell haven’t returned to normal. I like coffee, but can’t smell or taste it which is very disappointing!

That's a bummer.

I felt a little better yesterday after taking the vitamin d. Woke up this morning with anxiety through the roof. Blood pressure still not going down but my nurse said it can take a while and not to worry about it. My dr is supposed to call today and I work today so I'm thinking thats why I'm so anxious. Really dont feel well and my sinuses hurt.

I was easily fatigued, had no energy, for about ten months after having Covid. Been nearly a year and I'm still not 100% TBH.
