No, it is sad. Your mother died, suffering. You've suffered a terrible loss. My heart hurts for you. And for all who are suffering from this terrible disease, in so many ways and on so many levels. It just gets to me sometimes.I'm sorry BBH. Was not trying to make anyone sad. Maybe wake up? Be more careful? More aware?![]()
Thank you ♡♡♡No, it is sad. Your mother died, suffering. You've suffered a terrible loss. My heart hurts for you. And for all who are suffering from this terrible disease, in so many ways and on so many levels. It just gets to me sometimes.
It's true, losing a mother! Prayers for you and family TB. Our kids were going to have siblings over.. daughter in law's siblings, to play games for New Year Eve. Now they can't come over because her sister was exposed to covid. Our lives have changed. Some for the worst. In many different ways. Loss of a loved one, long haul illness, missing what would have been a normal day or night with others. When will it end?No, it is sad. Your mother died, suffering. You've suffered a terrible loss. My fear is that it will never end. That people will go back to living AS IF life is as normal as in pre-Covid days, accepting staggering losses and death AS IF they are an acceptable part of our "new normal." When, in fact, if everyone had done what should have been done as early as possible, we would have eradicated this cruel and filthy disease long ago, as we did polio and smallpox. If everyone had gotten vaccinated as early as possible, then Covid could not have spread and mutated, and we would not now be in our FIFTH iteration of it and seeing a spike in numbers that is higher than has been seen since the beginning of the pandemic. We would not see numbers DOUBLING DAILY. We would not see countries entering yet another lockdown. We would be done with this thing and it would be going down in the history books to be forgotten, where it belongs. That's my fear, Cynthia. And that's why I weep. Because nobody's mother, sister, father, brother, child, should ever be just another statistic. It's true, losing a mother! Prayers for you and family TB. Thank you.I'm so glad your daughter made the trip. I hope it is nothing to worry about. I hope your time with each other brings you both lots of joy.
I believe it will slow down to one being able to get a seasonal vaccine like the flu. I don't think it will stay this bad. It's just the wondering when it will slow down. May take another year. In the meantime, mine and ours will be vaccinated. My fear is that it will never end. Not really. Tourism, agriculture, forestry and fishing. Building materials are shipped in so major corporations and the military can afford that, or rich folks.I think that oversimplifies how dependent their economy is on tourism.
