A person who "has Covid" is most contagious in the 2 or 3 days before they test positive, and before they become symptomatic. And, in fact, a person who "has Covid" may NEVER have symptoms of illness. That's why a person, like yourself, who has been EXPOSED to another person who is known to be positive for Covid must quarantine. You could even now be contaminating everyone around you, spreading illness and death although you feel perfectly fine. That's what has been, and continues to make Covid so disastrously contagious and deadly. You could "have Covid" right now and not know it.
why the "" lol.

True - that's why I'm complying and staying home. Better safe than sorry. Still, makes me a little mad and a little anxious.
I have so much woooork.

Because I live in a house with multiple people, and it's not likely that I would be asymptomatic.
If I had covid, after 5 days someone else in my household would be showing symptoms, because I would have spread it to them.
Not necessarily, on either count. You could certainly be asymptomatic and have Covid, lots of people do. And after five days, any of the people in your household exposed to you would not necessarily have a full-blown case yet either. It can take up to 14 days after exposure for a person exposed to Covid-19 to develop the illness. Five days is just the median.

The quotes are because I was responding to another post. She said, "If I had Covid I would (italics) HAVE COVID." So I put "have Covid" in quotes to emphasize that I was quoting that last part of what she said. Make sense? I could have bolded, italicized or underlined, but on my phone, quotes are easiest. Sorry for the confusion.

And I agree with what you said.

I know this...I still believe I am most likely Covid free.

You both look so young. When you said you had been together10 years my jaw dropped. You don't look that old. I think half of my kids are older then you.
Yup been with him 1/3rd of my life. But people say I'm an old soul. Most of my best friends are twice or three times my age. My sister says its because I have"old person hobbies" but I say shes ageist. We have a lot to learn from the older generation biggest of all being wisdom

Damn rooster woke me up at 4 am this morning. By 5 am I had enough and went to sleep on the couch. But then the hubby woke up for work so there was no sleeping. Still dark out but I went ahead and opened his coop thinking if he sees its dark he'll STFU. He's finally stopped crowing now but thats 2 full hours of crowing at 5 minute intervals. So...tired... :th
