Used it a few times today

We haven’t experienced a pandemic like this in generations,
Depends on how long your generations are ;) DW's Aunt was born in 1917. That is only ONE generation :)

Seriously wearing a mask is not going to help.
Depends on the mask doesn't it!

I know this...I still believe I am most likely Covid free.
I know this is a  but MAYBE you could find a "take at home" test? If it is negative this long after exposure, you should be allowed back. Of course you can go back tomorrow anyway.

I would, but that’s not an option - tests are hard to get. Any expensive tests take a few days to get back, and we can’t buy at home tests because they’re sold out all over.

Heard on the news this morning theyre gonna try to get insurance to cover the cost of at home tests. Idk if that will make them easier or even harder to come by

I know, that is why I put in the
DW asked me to get some when I was shopping last week. I just laughed and asked if I should also pick up some hen's teeth.

No easier to get, easier on the wallet if you CAN get one.

If it happens, it will be harder on the wallet; just not as easily seen because it will be paid via paying the insurance companies who then pay the distributor or maybe the manufacturer or maybe the customer. Whichever way, it costs no less to make it and more to pay for it... even assuming everything is kept to what it actually costs to do.

Any body else notice the diminished quality of the pharmacies? I read they got over worked since having to give COVID vax and unhappy with their pay. We go to Wegmans and used to get top notch service, now there are new employees every time we go and lots of mistakes. Went for a script this morning that should've been ready in Dec and she said, we've contacted the Dr several times and he won't send it, the next lady said, he shouldn't need a refill yet. On the patient portal it says the Dr renewed it on Sat. This isn't the first time it's happened. Last time they charged full price instead of using insurance. They are making a whole range of mistakes. Overworked? No experience? I don't know but don't want to stay an hour at the pharmacy every time I go and still leave empty handed

I use meijers pharmacy. They wont do same day meds unless its an OTC. You gotta call at least one day before you run out or no meds for you

:idunno I mask and have made adjustments in my life style, but I surely have not put my life 'on hold'. I'm not certain what that means. Although much of what I do is out of consideration for others none of it is to 'suit others'. I'm far too old for that.
Perfect. So, you're awesome...and perfect. :). I hope you caught that.

Masks aren’t working period. Everyone touches their faces more often because of the mask. I and everyone else has worn a mask for 2yrs+ it’s a total pipe dream to believe any different. Now we have nurses working with positive Covid test results yet we’re still pushing masks and other nonsense guidelines.
People are abusing the system and anyone who gets a sniffle is out sick from work. It’s getting crazy now.
By putting life on hold I mean doing things as you would normally. That can be anything from visiting family, traveling or just generally doing the normal things you did before all of this. Some may call it adjustments where others feel like it’s infringement on their rights.
Be careful .. so many deaths..the whole world is sick. The whole world. My opinion...mine and oh so many others, is it's because one, there aren't enough vaccines getting done, and two, not enough masks being worn. If everyone in the world would do this, there would be so many ..less.. less deaths. It hurts my heart to know this. Our state is so sick right now. Do Utahns believe in masks? No, and the deaths rates are unreal this past months time. So, of course, Salt Lake City has had to mandate masks. Because they work! It's been proven! Vent over. Except one more time. Be careful. Now, this looks promising!!!! https://www.cbsnews.com/news/covid-...cine/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=news_tab

I physically can not wear a mask. My life has been placed on hold ... I can't see a lot of my Drs. I can not get procedures done. I was told indefinitely. I tend to wonder if everybody else is more important then me.
I guess I was lucky in 2020. Even as bad as it was, I was able to get a colonoscopy and endoscopy. I had also ended up in the ER with complications from an Illness. I was taken care of pretty good. ♥️
