You buy no electricity from the power company? Pretty good for living in Vermont.
On a daily basis yes I buy power from the electric company, especially for the Leaf since it makes no sense to charge a 62 kW battery from batteries connected to the solar panels. Plus the Leaf isn't at home during the day 6-7 days a week. It gets charged at night when the utility has lower demand but still has base load power.

But on the whole, for the year, I send more power to the utility than I buy back.
November is slightly negative, December, January and February are negative. Every other month is positive.

Don't get me wrong, it is good to drop the mandates. They should have been dropped long ago. Long, long ago. But since the mandates are now being dropped despite the science, I wish I could see a reason such things won't be reinstated again despite the science.

Well I for one will not be living in fear. I will be careful but I will not live in fear. Two years of this is ridiculous.
