GRRRRRR. My parents in Fla. Mom said she went for a haircut! I asked my dad why he took her. She can't drive. He said he didn't want to hear her pissed and moan for 2 days. I blasted them both about how dumb they are aND they could die cause mom had to have a haircut. They are in their 80's, mom's on oxygen and has cardiac problems. I just can't believe it!

Then, I spend 2 hours chopping up stuff for stew, crock pot all night and hubs says he did n't like it. I personally like it. There's nothing odd about it. Then he,s writing out a shopping list and I say "I just spent $350 on groceries (pickup)." He wanted a can of icing!!! I don't know how i'll survive!

I know that. White vinegar does a good job on lime scale too. Just let it soak overnight. However, I like to use The Works but I can certainly live without it. What I cannot understand is the rush on cleaning products in general and toilet paper in particular. There is not a roll of toilet paper to be found anywhere in my neck of the woods. I can see stocking up on canned goods and pet food etc., but toilet paper? Fortunately, I have a good supply and I did manage to find two bottles of The Works today.

Yeah, I don’t really get it either! Makes no sense to me. Although I guess if you go through a lot of TP & paper towels like me... :lau  but still. I did stock up on chicken food today though. Already had some but wanted to get more. Now I should have enough to last a little while.

I have a cousin who is a charge nurse at a medium sized hospital in Portland, OR. At the beginning of last week they had zero cases of COVID19. The next day they had two. Overnight 20 new cases were admitted. Two of those are in critical condition and are on ventilators. There were even some patients that were young enough to be put in the pediatric ward. I haven't talked to her since. Scared to.

That's awful! Unreal!

We are backwoods here, no tp, no lysol, no alcohol, no anything to do with any of that. Did see paper towels so not as bad as some, and food fully stocked, a few bare shelves. We haven't went far but where we usually shop small city of Oneonta, haven't been there since this started, heard they are empty, Aldis actually closed. Not worried about all that , more worried about sick people. I'm on four tens and work Wed-Sat, so I get to wait for Wed to see if anything has changed at work.
Oneonta? Really? I was born there in Fox Hospital.

I just go by what the scientist recommend 👍👍 1/2 strength powdered milk in waterers and increasing chicken house temps, and antibiotics can be administered to avoid secondary infection

What scientist? I have never heard of this before. I do not think it is a real thing. Antibiotics, yes, but I think the person you got your information from was lying to you.
