What is the Stay Home/Work Safe Order?
Beginning at midnight tomorrow—Tuesday March 24, 2020--Mayor Nirenberg is ordering all individuals living within the City of San Antonio to stay home and only leave their homes to perform allowed activities.
When does the Order start and when does it end?
The order is effective beginning at 11:59 pm on March 24, 2020 and with City Council approval, will be effective until 11:59 pm on April 9th.
What can I still do under the Order?

• Activities related to maintaining the health and safety of your family and your pets.
  • Examples are seeking emergency services, obtaining medical supplies or medication and visiting a health care professional.
  • This includes caring for a family member or pet in another household.
• Activities to obtain necessary supplies for you, your family and household
  • including groceries or food, pet supplies and pet food
  • supplies needed to work from home
  • consumer products, such as toilet paper and cleaning supplies.
• Working for an exempted business or government that is providing services needed by the public during this crisis (explained in detail below).
• Outdoor activity, such as walking, running or cycling, but only if you maintain social distancing, such as staying 6 feet away from other people.

That's what people think I do vegan for. I did see nasty chicken trucks that made me sick over meat, but I became allergic to everything but chicken and turkey. I throw up immediately after eating anything else. I can't even have dairy because it makes my stomach hurt.

There's no way I'm eating chicken or turkey from a store and I just started doing my own meat.

I actually really like being vegan regardless of what people say about it. I do the eating part of vegan not all the other stuff.

Hey FC I've been doing some reading about Nutritional yeast. I was looking for baking yeast and realized the other stuff was there. What do you use it for? The purpose? How does it taste?

Wisconsin joined the "LOCKDOWN" today. We've been staying at home since last week. Only going to the grocery store when necessary. My kids are feeling the isolation. I feel bad for the children, they need socialization, My son is playing Video games on his computer and can at least play with his friends and speak with them remotely via a headset. My daughter can Facetime her friends. We cleaned the basement yesterday, plenty more spring cleaning to be done!!

I just go by what the scientist recommend 1/2 strength powdered milk in waterers and increasing chicken house temps, and antibiotics can be administered to avoid secondary infection

But I thought chickens were lactose intolerant.

I ordered an N95 mask from Amazon on March 14th ( because my employer can't provide me with one!!! ) It's been sitting in Chicago since March 18th I took this week off a long time ago because this is "spring break" for my daughter, hope it arrives before I have to go back to work next week.

Yes consequences right now, one side delaying corona virus emergency funding over hundreds of millions in unrelated pork spending they want to add. Hundreds of millions for National Endowment of the Arts, tens of millions for John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, etc etc ,a lot of ridiculousness....

It is a shame nobody is really talking about the elephant in the room here. This could not have happened at a worse time in this country. The response has been disjointed, late and inadequate. States are on their own with no federal leadership. Misinformation is rampant and their is no clear direction, states and counties are on their own. In a few weeks the tsunami will hit and the healthcare system will not be able to keep up. Decisions will be made about who lives (gets a ventilator) and who does not. People will not be able to gather to mourn the dead, people will die alone at home. The poorest amongst us will be the hardest hit because they will continue to work because they have no choice. We are a rudderless ship.

I don't think it's the poor people who are working. It's everyone in the medical field from janitors to first responders to surgeons. McDonalds has a cook and someone to take orders in the drive thru. The poor and people who can't find groceries are overwhelming the food banks. My daughter gets paid, the question is can she find groceries to feed her kids? People who get food stamps still get them, their welfare, etc. It's the workers living paycheck to paycheck that are hurt by all of this.

Don't mean to offend anyone, WISH HE WOULD SHUT HIS MOUTH AND LET THE "TRUE" EXPERTS HANDLE THIS!!
