Chicken Marsala for dinner tonight. Well, sort of. Still deciding between rice or potatoes for the starch. Our potatoes are much more limited than our rice. Asparagus and carrots for veg.

Leftover pork ribs and salad for dinner here....someone qill be stuck with leftover spaghetti though.....
I call "not it" on the noodles.![]()
That was me who asked. No pork here, we don't eat it. Had Hebrew National hot dogs with Ranch Style beans (chili dogs) with grated cheese and onions. No bread for me. Someone asked if we are eating more healthfully a few pages back. DH and I always do, but there are things The Kid won't eat, so we eat "less healthy" a couple nights a week (like the chili dogs) to avoid an insurrection. Like we may have pizza occasionally.* It's working, he eats more healthy now than he used to!I guess because he knows he doesn't have to, ALL the time.
* ours has black olives, onions and green chilis on it; The Kid will eat onion on his now, which makes me happy because at least it's a veggie!

We always have tons of rice no matter if there's crisis or not. I really like brown rice, but a plain baked potato nothing on it is my fave.Chicken Marsala for dinner tonight. Well, sort of. My husband didn't like leftovers overs until we started dating. He loves my food.I'm always "it" on unwanted leftovers. My mom drummed into my head since I was little that it'd be my job to eat what no one else wanted once I was the head of the household.
My hubby used to not touch leftovers at all - his entire family was the same. Meanwhile my family remembers being hungry so very little goes to waste. I've managed to change hubby's mind at least and his lunches are now leftovers (I've been complimented by his coworkers who thought he was eating restaurant takeout) but whatever he doesn't want, I'm still the one eating it.
Could have fooled me!! Looks pure or almost pure to me LOLYup, though we've still never gotten an actual German Shepherd yet (which hubby is dying to have). I keep trying, but "shepherd mix" and "Anatolian shepherd" is as close as we've gotten.
We think it's from malamute. Lady we got her from was selling oopsie puppies from a dog that escaped off her farm and got preggo before coming back, for alarmingly cheap (like, these dogs might get picked up by some really bad people cheap) and said mom was a malamute but we never saw the mom. Honestly, we don't know, I was a teenager at the time and didn't think to check, and we don't care. We've gotten some inklings from behavior/appearance, like her "howl" is an unmistakable hound baying. But what matters is that she's great.
We've worked hard with them all. Agility is surprisingly easy to set up and train for a dog that likes moving around. We've set up agility jumps and items in our yard with bales of straw, old plywood, sticks and folding chairs. Nose work for us meant working with a friend, teaching them to follow where she went to hide. Can't do that right now - no pals allowed. I do a little competitive heeling training with The Killer sometimes. She loves it and focuses great.
It's really nice to have such joy and enthusiasm right now. It's also nice having their needs dragging me up and outdoors right now. it's always great to take a long break and go fetch with The Boy or do some trick training with all three. Then they settle down and cuddle with me at the end of the day. I don't think I could have asked for better quarantine buddies.
