Be strong, WeeFarmerSarah. It won't go on forever though some of us -- I must be about the same age -- won't have the time to recover retirement income that younger people will.

What consoles me is that we're all in this together -- the country and the world -- things will have to change after this pandemic is over just to keep things functional. Meanwhile, we have our chickens and a steady supply of eggs. We're more fortunate than many.

If you have bleach 1 tablespoon in a quart of water is antiviral. For cleaning greasy things vinegar will do the job. Maybe we won't return to buying expensive cleaners that don't do better than the old fashioned things our grandmothers used.

Same here have chickens, eggs rabbits and goat milk. I went to the grocery store twice last week and couldnt find milk or meat of course i have enough eggs i have plenty of frozen deer and turkey meat tho would love to have a cow too but my husband thinks ill fall in love with it like the goats and not butcher it when its time hes prob right

YES! That's what the warning from the World Health Organization was about back in January! Not taking that seriously and preparing THEN is the lack of leadership that I've been trying to discuss and that WILL cost American lives.

And now someone wants people to go to church for Easter???? That's not about leadership or responsible behavior or the national interest. That's about his Evangelical supporters getting to pass the plate at one of their 2 big events of the year. DON'T do it! Stay home. Be safe. Don't become a carrier of this disease that can kill.

Take your advice from Fauci! He knows what he's talking about. He knows what's responsible and what will save lives.

True its scary times we live in please stay homei wish my parents would they are 55 and 60 and still work my dad works for ups and handles those filthy boxes which they say corona stays on for 3 days and hes had open heart surgery mild ashtma my mom works in a closed off office so shes lower risk im worried about them and everyone thier age

Iv noticed Fauci looking really annoyed as the president talks i think it was fridays speech he almost looked sick it scared me

Wow that just scared me 1 in 50 get ventilators. Drs have to make that choice so sad

YES! And please understand some of them will be the doctors and nurses and medical technicians that the rest of us will depend on for care. That's why they're BEGGING us to stay at home, don't spread the virus and "flatten the curve".
