I'm in one of the hardest hit states. We are on pace to lose 7,000 ppl in a months time. The attitudes here are incredibly disheartening.

Just stop, you are making things worse. If infections double every 4 days then so will the deaths, there may be a lag between infection and deaths but the math will bear out.

Also the flu deaths are a yearly total. Tons have died just in 3 months. I guarantee the yearly total for this will be similar or higher.

Walmart pickup order is getting picked. Not sure if everything will be in stock but I'll report back how it all works out. Sometimes it goes smoothly and other times it doesn't. I should know the substitutions right before I leave to do pickup.

Also have to go to CVS to get prescriptions. I'm sure that'll be different too at the drive thru window. Wonder if they have changed any procedures?

Our pharmacy had a big sign posted at the entrance. STOP. If you are sick do not enter the store. Use the drive through.

I'm going through withdrawals with cutting out sugar. I don't ever remember my withdrawal from alcohol or cigarettes. I have a bad long term memory.

I bet that sucks! I don’t think I could ever totally cut out sugar. Have been eating better though. And totally understandable!!

Exactly right. Also why they'll probably never ban menthol cigarettes.

Alcohol abusers are much more prone to coronavirus because alcohol depletes the lungs' primary antioxidant that protects against viral infection. Seems counter-intuitive, but alcohol abuse causes a condition called "alcoholic lung".

It really is sad they seem to care more about money than people’s health

Can't find hand sanitizers anywhere. Target had a sign that you could only buy so many BUT
all the shelves there were empty.

Got toilet paper (extra) which don't really need, have a large pkg not opened - bought it b-4 Xmas.

Dollar Tree - cleaned out, couldn't find any similar products at Wally or Tarzhay, for cleaning hands. But, they had something to wipe down tables etc. I got a couple packets of those.They don't sound user friendly. Label says after use, thoroughly scrub down area, used on

The senior bus transportation dispatcher told me buses all have face masks if needed.

I have found most of our seniors do not get flu shots, some don't even see doctors or dentists. Honestly they pull their own teeth - diagnose themselves and treat with OTC products - not knowing what they really have.

80% of people have mild symptoms. More people die from seasonal flu. There's nothing to panic about. Chances are most people will be ok. It's people who panic and go overboard that make it worse for everyone.

The problem is, if you get a severe case of Covid 19....it infects both of your lungs, pretty much completely. If there is no ventilator, you die.

A shame too since we could learn from history that pandemics are the greatest threat to humankind since the beginning of time.
