I don’t really get why liquor stores are considered essential. It’s a bit ridiculous to me. People really can’t go a couple weeks without alcohol? I think it’s because it makes the government a ton of money and they don’t want to lose that.
I don't know if it the same every state but in NY majority of liquor stores (or any business) that have only one employee are exempt from shutting down. It's not that they are considered essential.

Well since you asked.. I woke up way too early and am just overwhelmed with sadness. People are dying, more people will die and it is preventable for the most part. Hospitals are being overwhelmed, every few days the numbers will double as to infections and deaths. I am afraid for my family, my sister in law likely already infected and fighting it all alone in another state. I am scared and angry. I cannot express my anger with our govt. here because I am on the verge of being banned for political posts. Sad, angry and scared describes how I am today. Thanks for asking

Thank you for sharing your feelings. :hugsI think a lot of us are sad, angry and scared. For me, it helps to be reminded that we are all in this together, and every little bit we can do helps everybody. My SIL came over for eggs yesterday. I met her at the door and gave them to her and stood outside and visited with her a few minutes through her car window, keeping six feet away. There was no exchange of money. We will practice such precautions until this is over. Every little bit helps. She may think I'm overly cautious, I don't know and I don't care. I think we all need to do our part.

Went all out with breakfast this morning. 😂🙈

I didn’t realize that but it makes sense. Though I think they announced they’re considered essential here

The problem is, if you get a severe case of Covid 19....it infects both of your lungs, pretty much completely. If there is no ventilator, you die.
I understand that Cap. It's a terrible thing. Death rates are still not exceptional compared to what they could be. Be careful but I don't see a need to panic. Things could have been handled better in the past, but this is what we're dealing with now. Let's hope the future learns something from this and we're somehow miraculously better prepared the next time.

That's why you boost your immune system in anyway that you possibly can. Eat healthier, get enough sleep, get exercise, drink lots of water...

All of this can help in the long run, but some people can't fight it off which is the awful part. I've been being safe or trying to. Only place I'm going to today is Walmart pick up and my parents for family dinner. Then I'm home until next weekend.
